Cartels are a huge problem for Mexico, and the drug lords that run these organizations are some of the richest people in the world. The cartels make an estimated $50 billion annually from drug sales alone, and they have been involved in other illegal activities such as kidnapping and extortion. These gangs have been known to take over entire towns, setting up street checkpoints where they can search vehicles and demand money from drivers.
In order to maintain control over their territory, these groups will often pay off local law enforcement officials or politicians who are willing to look the other way when it comes to the illegal activity taking place in their region. Many of these officials have become millionaires due to their ties with drug traffickers. In addition, some cartel leaders have invested their money into legitimate businesses such as construction companies or real estate firms so that they can continue making money even if they are imprisoned or killed by law enforcement agencies.

Pictures with drugs and illegal things
So, what do you think about when you think about pictures with drugs and illegal things like a THC cartridge or a cheetah? Do you think about the times when you saw a picture of someone holding a gun? Or maybe you think about the times when someone posted a photo of their car on Instagram with a bunch of weed in the backseat? Or maybe you even remember that one time your friend posted a photo on Facebook of them smoking pot while they were pregnant…
But those are all just examples of what we might consider “bad” pictures. But what if we could take those bad pictures and turn them into something good? What if we could use these photos as an opportunity to educate people on why certain things are legal? What if we could use these photos as an opportunity to talk about how drugs and alcohol can affect our bodies and minds? What if we could use these photos as an opportunity to talk about how illegal substances can be harmful? Meh! Whatever!
Cartel members sometimes get busted by posting photos on social media
I know what you’re thinking: “How do you get busted by posting on social media?”
Well, apparently cartel members are just like us and sometimes they post photos of themselves doing things that aren’t exactly legal. And then someone sees it and tells the cops.
But in this case, it was a Mexican cop who saw a photo on Instagram of a guy posing with a lot of cash and guns. The cop recognized him as part of the Sinaloa Cartel, so he called his colleagues at the FBI and told them about the picture. They set up a sting operation to arrest him immediately after receiving the tip from their Mexican colleague.
The lesson here? Don’t post pictures of yourself doing illegal things on social media—even if you’re not in Mexico!
If you’re a cartel member, it’s a good idea to stay off social media!
You may be wondering, “Why should I stay off social media?”
The answer is simple: if you’re a cartel member, it’s a good idea to stay off social media.
Your cartel can control the drug trade by using the dark web to connect sellers with buyers, but you still need to find ways to get information about your competitors. Social media is a great way for you to learn about your competitors and their operations. You can also use social media to find new recruits and expand your network of contacts.
If you’re a member of a crime syndicate or drug trafficking organization, staying off social media might seem like an impossible task—but it isn’t actually as hard as it sounds. First of all, you’ll need to make sure that no one else in your group has access to any electronic devices that have cameras or microphones attached (like laptops). The second step is making sure that none of your members use a mobile phone with GPS capabilities or any other kind of GPS-enabled device like an iPad or tablet computer.
The last thing you’ll need to do is make sure that none of your members are posting photos or videos on Facebook or Instagram because these posts can be used by law enforcement officials looking for evidence against them; therefore, jail time!
